Updated: Mar 15, 2021

Getting ArcDPS Set Up

  1. Go to the Arcdps website here.

  2. Scroll to the very bottom till you see "x64: current". Click.

  3. Click "d3d9.dll" to download Arc.

  4. Once downloaded, place d3d9.dll into "gw2 install dir/bin64/" while your game is closed.

  5. Start GW2. If your game crashes, check the "it's not working" section of the website.

  6. Pick a character (so you know what your UI looks like when you're setting up Arc).

  7. Press Shift+Alt+T to open the Options menu.

  8. Turn on Area Stats (this is bare minimum).

  9. Right click on the new tab "Damage".

  10. In the "Display" options, change your stats format to "@5 (@2)". You can add other things, but these are the most important.

  11. Back under the Options menu, navigate the Logging menu, turn on "save EVTC logs after encounters".

  12. Still under Logs, turn on "compress logs with PowerShell (Win10)" if you have Windows 10.

  13. Past this point, fiddle with your options and windows as you'd like.

You will have to manually update ArcDPS which just entails doing steps 1 through 4 again. A notification will be sent in #tyrian-news every new Arc release.

Getting PlenBot Set Up

  1. Go to the PlenBot website here.

  2. At the top-right corner, click "Download" and it will open to a GitHub page.

  3. Download the "PlenBotLogUploader.exe" from the Latest release.

  4. Open the exe.

  5. Click "Change logs directory" to set PlenBot up with your ArcDPS logs folder. Logs will be in your "Documents\Guild Wars 2\addons\arcdps\arcdps.cbtlogs" folder.

  6. Turn on "upload logs".

  7. Click "GW2 API settings" and enter your API.

  8. Click the "DPS.report settings".

  9. Enable custom user token, then create a token from API.

  10. Click Aleeva Integration. Follow the guide here to authorize Aleeva.

  11. Set the notification server to "return of mellaggan [quag]".

  12. Set the notification channel to "logs".
